Qualifications

• Certified Scrub Technician (CST) certification required.
• Experience in a surgical/operating room setting preferred.
• Strong knowledge of sterile techniques and surgical instrumentation.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; healthcare-related education is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare operating rooms by setting up instruments, equipment, and sterile drapes.
• Assist surgeons and staff during procedures by passing instruments and supplies.
• Maintain sterile techniques and infection control protocols.
• Ensure instruments and equipment are sterilized and accounted for before/after procedures.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to anticipate needs during surgeries.
• Document procedures and maintain accurate records as required.
• Participate in inventory management and restock supplies.
• Comply with hospital policies, safety regulations, and quality standards.
