Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Education/GED required.
• Associate's/Technical Degree or equivalent combination preferred.
• CSFA certification required.
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patient for surgery and assist visualization of the operative field.
• Provide hemostasis and assist with graft harvesting and wound closure as directed by the surgeon.
• Perform pre- and postoperative activities to facilitate patient care within defined parameters.
• Verify availability of surgical equipment and supplies per surgeon's preference.
• Maintain operating room environment and assist with draping, gowning, and gloving as needed.
