Qualifications

• Certification in Surgical Technology/Certified First Assistant.

• Five years’ experience in an acute care operating room (scrub) preferred.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Health Care Provider per American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Assist surgeon with exposure, hemostasis, closure, and other intraoperative functions.
• Perform preoperative and postoperative duties to facilitate proper patient care.
• Operate under surgeon direction and hospital policy and regulations.
