Job summary

The role involves active participation with surgeons, including exposure provision, hemostasis, and other technical functions to ensure safe, efficient operations.

The CSFA must be registered by the State Board of Medicine and NBSTSA, with current AHA/BLS/HCP certification; ACLS preferred.

Qualifications

• Registered by the State Board of Medicine and CSFA (NBSTSA).
• Current AHA, BLS, HCP Certification.
• ACLS preferred.
• Experience as a Surgical Technologist or as CSFA.

Responsibilities

• Assists in operations under the surgeon to make incisions and close sites, manipulate tissue, implant devices, suction, place catheters, clamp or cauterize vessels, and apply dressings.
• Takes call for routine or high acuity cases after orientation period.
• Works across all three shifts, including weekends and holidays.
