Peak Vista Community Health Centers in Colorado Springs is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician responsible for providing clinic support through the handling of dental and medical clinic instrumentation. The role demands excellent communication skills, teamwork, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Applicants must have a high school diploma, a year's experience in sterile processing, and relevant certifications. Competitive hourly pay and a comprehensive benefits package are offered.
$21.43 to $31.07 hourly, based on experience.
A $1,000 sign‑on bonus will be paid in installments: $300 after 30 days, $300 after 90 days, and $400 after one year of employment. Current employees are not eligible for the sign‑on bonus.
Loyalty bonus – $1,200 after one year of service and $300 for each additional three months. This applies only to full‑time employees; the amount will be prorated for part‑time employees.
Responsible for providing clinic support through the proper care and handling of all dental and medical clinic instrumentation, including receiving, cleaning, decontaminating, packaging, and redistributing instrumentation to specified clinics in accordance with guidelines and recommendations. Requires excellent communication skills, decisive judgement, and the ability to work as a team with minimal supervision in a fast‑paced, proactive, upbeat environment.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Work Experience: 1 year in sterile processing or as a dental assistant with sterilization experience.
Certifications: Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) from IAHCSMM or Certified Sterile Processing Distribution Technician (CSPDT) from CBSPD, or a Certified Dental Assistant with sterilization experience.
Intermediate ability to use intranet/internet for timecard management, policy review, and company communications; proficient with email, templates, basic macros, and data manipulation in spreadsheets and database tools.
OSHA risk level/work environmental hazards: This position is categorized as OSHA Level One.
Employee must constantly stand and walk, occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
