Job summary

Montage Health is seeking an Instrument Technician to support perioperative services, including OR, Short Stay Unit and PACU. You will clean, assemble, sterilize, disinfect instruments, and document the sterilization process per policy.

Prerequisites: sterile processing experience or current certification, HS diploma or GED, and CRCST or CSPDT certification. Full-time, 2pm–10:30pm with rotating weekends.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in sterile processing or current certification in sterile processing required.
• High school diploma, G.E.D. required. Completion of a sterile processing course or equivalent work experience in instrument processing required.
• Certification from HSPA – CRCST or CBSPD – CSPDT required

Responsibilities

Cleans, assembles equipment, sterilizes and disinfects supplies, instruments, and equipment according to established policies and procedures. Performs material management functions in relation to par levels. Accurately documents the sterilization process.

Experience

Education

High school diploma, G.E.D. required. Completion of a sterile processing course or equivalent work experience in instrument processing required.

Licensure/Certifications
