• Recently expanded with a new tower including inpatient rehab, dialysis, laboratory, and imaging services.

The role you’ll contribute:

The Certified Sterile Processing Technician will provide thoroughly cleaned, disinfected, and sterilized instruments and equipment to various hospital departments, following manufacturer instructions for use. Responsibilities include assembly of instrument trays, operation of sterilization equipment, troubleshooting minor issues, and maintaining relationships with team members.

• Rotate among decontamination, tray assembly, sterilization, and supplies management.
• Identify and segregate items for decontamination, disinfection, and sterilization.
• Select proper cleaning and sterilization methods, disassemble and inspect items, operate equipment safely.
• Assemble instruments and record information accurately in tracking systems.
• Use appropriate sterilization packaging, ensure aseptic techniques, and verify sterility indicators.

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:

• Experience in sterile processing or surgical technology/military training.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certification through HSPA or CBSPD.
