Job summary

Duke Health Lake Norman Hospital in Mooresville, NC seeks a Central Sterile Processing Technician, Certified to ensure clean, decontaminated, and properly assembled medical instruments for the operating room.

Certification CSPDT (CBSPD) or CRCST (HSPA) is required; a high school diploma is mandatory. No experience beyond certification is needed. A commitment bonus of $5,000+ may apply based on experience if eligible.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is required (employees hired before 2/18/19 are exempt).
• No experience required beyond certification.

Responsibilities

• Clean, decontaminate, assemble, and disinfect reusable instrumentation.
• Maintain adequate supply levels in sterile storage and rotate stock for daily surgical schedules.
• Distribute case carts and stat supplies to the OR and maintain sterility per hospital protocol.
• Test instrumentation and report problems to leadership; assist with teaching new staff.
