Mt. Olympus Surgery Center in Salt Lake City, UT is seeking a Certified Instrument/Sterile Processing Tech to assist with cleaning, sterilizing, and maintaining instruments for patient care.

You will follow manufacturer instructions, document testing, and uphold high standards of disinfection in a fast-paced surgical setting. Responsibilities include maintaining logs for cycles, monitoring equipment status, and ensuring compliance with AAMI and ASHCSP guidelines, under RN supervision.

Competenze

• One year experience in surgical instrument sterilization processing.
• Valid BCLS Certification upon employment.
• Certification and knowledge of standards and recommended guidelines of AAMI and ASHCSP.

Mansioni

• Maintain cleanliness and sterilization of instruments and equipment.
• Maintain a sanitary environment for patient care.
• Demonstrate appropriate sterilization methods per manufacturer instructions.
• Maintain logs and test loads for sterilization cycles.
