Job summary

Responsibilities include preparing surgical sets, coordinating with the surgical team on daily schedules, and ensuring efficient instrument handling during procedures.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or GED is required.
• CSPDT Certification or CRCST Certification is required.
• Experience: 1 year minimum.

Responsibilities

• Clean, inspect, assemble, and sterilize surgical instruments and trays to ensure sterility and readiness for use.
• Manage sterilization equipment and maintain accurate records to support patient safety and infection prevention.
• Prepare customized surgical sets and case carts based on daily schedules and procedure needs.
• Manage inventory and supplies in OR storage and specialty lockers, collaborating with the surgical team to meet needs.
• Respond quickly to instrument requests during surgeries and assist with urgent equipment needs.
