Geo-Technology Associates, Inc. (GTA) seeks a CERTIFIED SPECIAL INSPECTOR with 2–5 years of relevant testing experience for the Greater Philadelphia area. The role covers field inspections, sampling, testing and reporting, with mentorship duties for junior staff.

The ideal candidate will hold ICC/ACI/NICET or equivalent credentials, possess a valid driver’s license, and be willing to travel to PA, NJ, DE. Excellent teamwork, independence, and proficiency with MS Office and Adobe are required.

Qualifikationen

• ICC Certifications (Soils, Masonry, Fireproofing, Structural Steel Welding, Structural Steel Bolting, Reinforced Concrete, etc.)
• ACI CCS or Concrete Field-Testing Tech Grade I
• Special Inspection of Firestopping
• NICET and/or AWS/CWI credentials are preferred
• Professional licenses and registrations in PA/NJ/DE where applicable

Aufgaben

• Verify construction is in accordance with plans and specifications
• Carry out inspections, sampling and testing
• Coordinate with clients, general contractors, and GTA Project Managers
• Record and document construction in daily field reports
• Generate technical reports and inspection summaries
• Oversee, train, and mentor junior staff
