Saint Francis Healthcare System seeks a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to perform ultrasound examinations across age groups following approved protocols and safety standards. You will schedule and obtain patient history, evaluate exam requests, assist radiologists, and maintain familiarity with equipment and supplies to ensure high-quality imaging.

Requirements include ARDMS RDMS certification, ABD or OB/GYN registries within one year, and BLS certification.

Formación

• RDMS certification required by ARDMS.
• ABD/OBGYN ARDMS registries required within 1 year.

Responsabilidades

• Performs diagnostic ultrasound procedures on patients of all ages according to approved protocols, ultrasound exposure, safety, and established exam indicators.
• Schedules and obtains history from patients.
• Evaluates the appropriateness of requested exams and assists radiologists.
• Maintains knowledge of equipment and instruments/supplies pertinent to high quality exams.
• Provides effective internal and external patient communication consistent with age and mental capacity.
