Qualifications

• High School Diploma/G.E.D
• ARDMS RDMS(OB/GYN) or (AB) or (BR); or ARRT R.T.(S) or R.T.(S)(ARRT) ARDMS RVT(VT) or ARRT R.T.(S)(VS) ARDMS RDCS(AE)/(PE) or Cardiovascular
• Credentialing International (RCS)
• BLS through American Heart Association

Responsibilities

• Performs ultrasound procedures including abdominal, pelvic, OB, head, extremity, retroperitoneal, small parts and vascular.
• May perform cardiac procedures as required by entity.
• Adheres to ALARA to minimize radiation exposure.
• Produces high-quality images in a complete, accurate, and timely manner.
• Provides information and instruction to patients and families regarding procedures and addresses needs.
• Observes patient and equipment and reports any unusual occurrences.
