Northern Tool + Equipment seeks a Mechanic to service and repair customer‑brought items at our Minnetonka store. You will source and order parts, diagnose and fix small engines, and maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of our brands while ensuring reports are completed accurately.

Qualifications

• 1+ years repairing and maintaining small engines.
• Ability to clearly explain diagnosis and repair to customers.
• Follow safety and security procedures.
• Respectful team player contributing to a positive culture.
• Operate with integrity and uphold company values.
• Strong organizational skills; proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of small engine theory (2- and 4-stroke).
• Certifications from major brands (Honda, Kohler, Briggs & Stratton).
• Master certification is a plus.
• Experience with electrical systems, pumps, unloader systems, hydraulics.

Responsibilities

• Source and order parts for customers.
• Diagnose and repair small engines and equipment.
• Maintain knowledge of Northern Tool + Equipment's national and private label brands.
• Complete required reports and forms.
