Description

Your number one priority as a Mechanic will be to service and repair products that are brought to the store for repair. The Mechanic promotes strong customer relations, a positive work environment, and is also responsible for sourcing and ordering parts. Schedule Requirements

• Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Source and order parts for customers.
• Diagnose and repair small engines/equipment.
• Maintain current knowledge of Northern Tool + Equipment's national and private label brands.
• Complete all reports and forms required in conjunction with work assignments.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience repairing and maintaining small engines.
• Skills to clearly explain the diagnosis and repair to the customer.
• Ability to recognize and observe all safety and security procedures.
• Desire to treat others with respect and contribute to building a positive team spirit.
• Drive to work with integrity and uphold company values while operating a profitable service business.
• Strong organizational skills and fluency with Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of small engine theory (2 and 4 stroke): lubrication, cooling, ignition and fuel systems.
• Certifications in major manufacture brands like Honda, Kohler, Briggs & Stratton, etc.
• Master certification is a plus.
• Extensive experience with electrical systems, plunger driven or axial pressure washer pumps, unloader systems, hydraulic theory, and associated diagnostic equipment and procedures.

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive pay: $18.00 – $29.70 hourly, personalized based on skills, experience, and location.
• Full‑time role, Monday–Friday.
