Job summary

RK Industries is seeking a skilled Shop Floor Welder 3 to perform code-compliant welding and fabrication in our Colorado facility. You will follow validated welding procedures, produce parts to exact engineering requirements, and uphold safety and Lean practices to drive high first-pass yields.

Responsibilities include performing certified welding with GMAW, SMAW, and FCAW, fabricating assemblies from drawings, documenting welding work, and maintaining quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Must hold U.S. Citizenship and be legally eligible to work in the U.S.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical welding certs preferred.
• Current or prior AWS D1.1 qualification preferred; ability to complete company testing.
• Experience with GMAW, SMAW, FCAW and reading engineered drawings.

Responsibilities

• Perform certified welding using GMAW, SMAW and FCAW per procedures and project requirements.
• Fit, tack, weld, laser, and fabricate assemblies from drawings and weld symbols.
• Complete technical welding documentation and ensure traceability of materials.
• Maintain safe, organized work area and meet quality/production targets.
• Support lean manufacturing and identify opportunities for process improvements.
