Job summary

RK Industries, LLC is seeking a Shop Floor Welder 3 in Aurora, CO to perform code-compliant welding and fabrication for manufacturing and service projects. You will follow approved welding procedures, build components from drawings and weld symbols, and contribute to Lean improvements while maintaining safety and quality.

The role requires reading engineering drawings, working with multiple welding processes, and ensuring proper documentation and inspection readiness as part of a collaborative

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• AWS D1.1 welding qualification (current or previously held) required or able to complete company testing.
• Technical welding certificate or equivalent training/experience.
• Minimum three years of related welding and fabrication experience preferred.
• Experience with GMAW, SMAW, and FCAW.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety policies, PPE requirements and maintain a clean work area.
• Perform certified welding per approved procedures and project specifications.
• Fit, tack, weld, laser, and fabricate from engineered drawings and weld symbols.
• Complete welding documentation and assist in selecting correct procedures.
• Engage in Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement efforts.
