Qualifications

• Certificate or diploma in Shipfitting or related field.
• Ability to work at extreme heights or in confined spaces.
• Able to kneel, squat, crawl, bend, stoop and climb.
• Able to lift 40 lbs and pass a respirator fit test.
• Able to work assigned shift as production needs.
• Able to do overhead work and work outdoors.
• Willing to learn measurements.

Responsibilities

• Read, interpret, plan and execute from drawings and procedures.
• Measure, cut, grind, fit, align and tack weld parts.
• Build in-place all interior structures, hatches, doors, bulkheads, etc., to complete all the steel work.
