Job summary

Asbury Automotive Group is seeking a Certified Ford Service Technician in Brownsburg, IN. You will perform routine repairs, diagnose with some assistance, and gain exposure to electrical, HVAC, transmissions, and braking systems.

You will communicate with advisors, complete warranty claims, and participate in ongoing manufacturer training to stay current with new technology. The role requires at least basic tools, strong technical skills, and the ability to work as part of a team.

Qualifications

• ASE certifications heavily preferred.
• Manufacturer certifications heavily preferred.
• Previous automotive technician experience required.
• Must have basic tools.
• Must have great technical and mechanical skills.
• Must be a team player and able to work on complex tasks.

Responsibilities

• Make accurate use of the multi-point inspection form on each vehicle.
• Document all work performed and recommended on the repair order.
• Communicate with service advisor when additional work is needed or if repairs cannot be completed within the promised time.
• Maintain technician proficiency as specified by Asbury standards.
• Conduct road tests to determine work needed and to confirm successful completion.
