Job summary

Asbury Automotive Group is seeking an automotive Service Technician (B level) to perform routine repairs and diagnostics on customer vehicles. You will work on light engine tasks, transmissions, electrical, HVAC, and suspension, with a strong emphasis on safety and quality.

ASE and manufacturer certifications are highly preferred, and you must have basic tools and a valid driver's license. The role offers competitive hourly pay, opportunities for ongoing training, and a pathway to advanced

Qualifications

• ASE certifications preferred.
• Manufacturer certifications preferred.
• Previous automotive technician experience required.
• Must have basic tools.
• Must have strong technical and mechanical skills.
• Must be a team player and able to work repetitively on complex tasks.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine repairs and diagnose vehicles, including light engine work, transmissions, clutches, drive shafts, electrical systems, HVAC, and steering/suspension.
• Make accurate use of the multi-point inspection form on each vehicle.
• Document work performed and communicate with service advisor for additional work.
• Maintain technician proficiency as per Asbury standards.
• Road test vehicles when needed to verify repairs.
