Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited surgical technician program.
• Certification within 1 year of hire date.
• Knowledge of aseptic technique in perioperative setting.
• Demonstrates patient safety and compassionate care.

Responsibilities

• Perform scrub duties under RN direction.
• Assist circulating nurse and anesthesia provider.
• Maintain sterile field and instrument counts.
• Label and maintain medications on sterile field.
• Support cost-effective equipment use and supply management.
• Participate in performance improvement activities.
