Responsibilities:

• Providing professional medical treatment to students
• Early detection of student physical problems and health evaluations
• Coordinating vision, hearing, and orthopedic screenings
• Providing health education and assisting with disease prevention and nutrition
• Promoting health education and immunization programs
• Designing and implementing Individualized Health Plans (IHPs)
• Overseeing student medication administration and treatments as per IHP
• Maintaining clinical records
• Providing emergency aid
• Consulting and training school staff
• Participating in health curriculum implementation
• Counseling students and parents on health-related issues

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school preferred
• Current RN license in the specific state

• Meet all legal and contractual requirements
