Job summary

Mercy Health is seeking a Certified Pharmacy Technician to join the team at St. Charles Hospital.

The technician will provide pharmacy services, prepare pharmaceuticals, manage inventory, perform audits, handle financial transactions, and deliver strong patient service as part of the interdisciplinary care team under the Pharmacist. Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED and valid ExCPT certification with state registration.

Qualifications

• High School Degree or GED.
• Valid ExCPT Certification and State Board registration.
• Experience in Retail, Ambulatory, Outpatient, Hospital, or Home Infusion Pharmacy preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receiving and verifying prescriptions.
• Record patient information with prescription per guidelines.
• Educate patients on medication use.
• Support Pharmacist in daily pharmacy operations.
• Adhere to infection-control policies and procedures.
