Carilion Clinic in Roanoke, VA seeks a Certified Respiratory Therapist for Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital. Evening/Night shift, full-time, focused on patient care, documentation, and team collaboration.

The role requires an Associate degree or certification in respiratory therapy, VA licensure, CRT credential, and BLS within 3 months; ACLS/NRP/PALS may be required within one year. Travel to other Carilion sites may occur.

Qualifications

• Associate degree and/or certification in respiratory therapy as required by CoARC.
• Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner by the VA State Board of Medicine; CRT credential.
• Must complete orientation and competency validation; BLS within 3 months; ACLS/NRP/PALS may be required within one year.

Responsibilities

• Implements patient care to achieve optimum outcomes across ages.
• Collaborates with the health care team to develop and revise an age-specific plan of care.
• Administers and documents treatments and medications.
• Identifies patient/family education needs and integrates into the plan of care.
• Contributes to performance improvement and ensures competency.
