Job summary

Woodlands Senior Living in Rockland, ME is seeking a Certified Residential Medication Aide (CRMA) to join our caring team. An active Maine 40-Hour CRMA Certification is required, with flexible full-time, part-time, and per diem shifts available.

You will administer medications, document administration, monitor residents, assist with ADLs, respond to requests, and collaborate with nursing staff to support safe, quality care.

Qualifications

• Active Maine 40-Hour CRMA Certification is required.
• PSS certification preferred or willingness to obtain it within community standards.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and document administration per orders and state regulations.
• Observe residents for effectiveness, side effects, and changes in condition; report concerns.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility).
• Respond promptly to resident call lights and requests for assistance.
• Support resident participation in activities and social engagement.
• Maintain accurate documentation of care and changes in resident status.
• Promote dignity, independence, safety, and quality of life through compassionate care.
• Collaborate with nursing and care team to ensure positive resident outcomes.

What We’re Looking For

• Active Maine 40-Hour CRMA Certification required.
• Current PSS certification preferred or willingness to obtain certification if required by community standards.
• Compassionate, dependable, and resident-focused attitude.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Previous experience in assisted living, memory care, or long-term care is preferred.

What you’ll bring to the role

• Must be 18 years of age
• Active Maine 40-Hour CRMA Certification required.
• Must commit to obtaining PSS certification within 120 days of hire.
• Must provide proof of immunization/immunity to MMR, Varicella and Influenza.
• Strong command of the English language with the ability to follow oral and written instructions with precision
