Job summary

First American in Columbus, OH is seeking an experienced Appraiser to join Mortgage Solutions to assess property value for loan origination and servicing. You will document findings with photographs, measurements, and comparable data to support appraisals.

Responsibilities

• Conduct an unbiased assessment of market areas to estimate property value.
• Document on-site assessments with photos, measurements, and similar sales data.
• Draw land diagrams and other visual documentation.
• Consider factors influencing value including development and neighborhoods.
• Generate fee quotes and present evaluations to buyers and agents.
• Collaborate with Lead Appraiser to resolve requests and improve processes.
• Meet department turn-time expectations and escalate when needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
