Job summary

Encompass Health is seeking a Certified Rehabilitation Registered Nurse to lead and coordinate individualized care plans on a designated unit, ensuring high-quality rehab outcomes. You will supervise nursing staff, collaborate with other departments, and document patient progress with precision.

Ideal candidates hold an RN license with CRRN certification and CPR, with 2+ years in inpatient hospital or rehab settings, and a willingness to engage in ongoing education and patient-family instruction.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required by state regulations.
• CRRN certification required.
• CPR certification required; ACLS preferred.
• Two years of inpatient hospital experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care for each patient.
• Oversee care provided by nursing and other staff on the assigned unit/shift.
• Coordinate patient care through collaboration with other departments.
• Document patient condition changes and take corrective actions as needed.
• Assume Charge Nurse responsibilities when required.
• Educate patients and caregivers on tests, procedures, treatments, and medications.
• Attend interdisciplinary conferences to represent the department and relay nursing observations.
• Respond to emergencies in absence of senior management.
• Provide a minimum of two in-services annually.
• Identify and implement nurse development training needs.

Qualifications
