Job summary

Heritage Valley is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join the Heart & Vascular Center in Pittsburgh. The role is full-time and on-site, supporting physicians in delivering comprehensive patient care.

The candidate will participate in daily rounds, patient assessment, treatment planning, and coordination with allied health staff. CPR certification and state licenses are required, with weekend coverage as needed.

Qualifications

• CRNP must graduate from an accredited nursing program and complete an NP program.
• Three years of professional nursing experience in a clinical setting.
• Possession of a State RN License and Nurse Practitioner State License.
• PA must graduate from an accredited PA program and hold NCCPA certification.
• Requires CPR certification and successful completion of required clearances within 90 days of starting.

Responsibilities

• Provide assessment, planning, and patient care in collaboration with physicians and other providers.
• Support physicians and other clinicians in the Heart & Vascular Center to deliver high-quality care.

Office Location: Heart and Vascular Center 2201 Park Manor Blvd Suite 500 Pittsburgh, PA 15205
Work Hours: Monday - Friday daylight, occasional weekend coverage at AHN Beaver hospital

Provides assistance and support to physicians and other medical providers in assessing, planning, and providing patient care.

Requirements

Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner - Graduation from an accredited school of Nursing and successful completion of an approved Nurse Practitioner program. Three years professional nursing experience in a clinical setting. Possession of a State Registered Nurse License. Possession of Nurse Practitioner State License.

Physician Assistant - Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program. Certification from the National Commission on Certifications of Physician's Assistants.

Requires CPR certification and successful completion of applicable clearances as outlined in Human Resources policy HR-106 within 90 days of commencing employment.

Preferred

Previous office or clinical experience, ACLS certification.
