Job summary

NorthWest EMS seeks a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner for the Emergency Department at AHN Beaver Emergency Department in Beaver, PA. This full-time, on-site position provides primary and emergency care to a diverse patient population in a busy ED.

The CRNP will deliver care under the supervision of the ED physician, under APP supervision, and ultimately report to the Medical Director. BLS is required, and clearances must be completed within 90 days.

Qualifications

• Nationally certified and/or State licensed to provide care as a nurse practitioner.
• BLS certification.
• Successful completion of required clearances within 90 days of starting employment.
• At least one year of direct emergency patient care experience.
• ACLS & PALS certification encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary and emergency care to ED patients under physician supervision.
• Work under direct supervision of Emergency Department physician and APP Supervisor; report to Medical Director.

Description

Department: AHN Beaver Emergency Department.
Work Hours: Full time, Rotating shifts.

The Emergency Medicine CRNP is a professional with advanced education and training in the primary and emergency care of newborn to geriatric populations. The CRNP is responsible for providing primary care to Emergency Department patients under the direct medical supervision of the Emergency Department physician, indirectly under the supervision of the Emergency Department APP Supervisor, and ultimately reports to the Medical Director.

Requirements

Nationally certified and/or State licensed to provide care as a nurse practitioner.

BLS certification. Successful completion of applicable clearances as outlined in Human Resources policy HR-106 within 90 days of commencing employment.

Preferred

At least one year of direct emergency patient care experience. ACLS & PALS certification is encouraged.
