Job summary

The NorthWest EMS affiliated Emergency Department role seeks a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner to provide primary and emergency care in the Beaver, PA facility. You will work under the supervision of the Emergency Department physician and APP Supervisor to deliver high-quality patient care across the age spectrum.

Requirements include national certification and state licensure as a nurse practitioner, BLS, and successful completion of required clearances within 90 days.

Qualifications

• Nationally certified and/or State licensed to provide care as a nurse practitioner.
• BLS certification.
• Successful completion of applicable clearances within 90 days of commencing employment.
• ACLS & PALS certification is encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary and emergency care to ED patients across all ages under ED physician supervision.
• Report to the Emergency Department APP Supervisor and Medical Director.

Description

Department: AHN Beaver Emergency Department.
Work Hours: Full time, Rotating shifts.

The Emergency Medicine CRNP is a professional with advanced education and training in the primary and emergency care of newborn to geriatric populations. The CRNP is responsible for providing primary care to Emergency Department patients under the direct medical supervision of the Emergency Department physician, indirectly under the supervision of the Emergency Department APP Supervisor, and ultimately reports to the Medical Director.

Requirements

Nationally certified and/or State licensed to provide care as a nurse practitioner.

BLS certification. Successful completion of applicable clearances as outlined in Human Resources policy HR-106 within 90 days of commencing employment.

Preferred

At least one year of direct emergency patient care experience. ACLS & PALS certification is encouraged.
