Qualifications

• Must be Board Certified/Board Eligible in Anesthesia.
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required.

• Provide anesthesia for a variety of cases including general, pediatric, and trauma.
• Manage ventilation and perform central line placements.

Opportunity Highlights

1. Schedule: 32-40 hours per week, with options including five 8-hour shifts, two 8s and two 10s, or three 8-hour shifts, or three 10-hour shifts. Two 10-hour weekend shifts per 12-week schedule, Friday or Monday required. Hours include a 30-minute unpaid lunch.

Types of Cases: General Anesthesia, Adult, Pediatric, Neonatal, Trauma, Spinal Anesthesia, Epidural Anesthesia, Regional Anesthesia Surgery, Obstetrical Cases, Neurosurgical cases, Head, Spine, Open Heart Anesthesia, Thoracic cases (except open heart), Complex vascular cases (except open heart), Complex orthopedic cases, Pain management techniques, Post-op epidural, Post-op extremity blocks, Epidural steroid for Lumbar, Epidural steroid for Cervical, Transforaminal, Lumbar, Cervical, Use of x-ray guidance in performance of blocks, Ventilation management, Evaluation and management of acute volume/BP issues, Central Line placement, Arterial Line placement, PA Catheter placement, CRNA supervision
4. Credentialing: 60-90 days

Minimum Requirements for Consideration

1. Board Certified/Board Eligible: Yes, Certified in Anesthesia
2. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS
3. Licensure: Licensed in NC or IMLC
