Job description

Locums - Fredericksburg, Virginia, CRNA Float Pool Job

Clinical Role:

2. ASAP - Ongoing Need
3. Must be able to work full-time and commit to a 6-month contract with 4x10 hour shifts (not always consecutive)
4. 4:1 supervision
5. Floating between 3 facilities
6. All cases except transplants. Including hearts, lungs, healthy Peds, OB, Ortho, GI, ENT, Dental/ENT, etc.
7. OB and Thoracic experience is required; Peds experience is preferred
8. CRNA performs own epidurals and spinals. No blocks.
9. 10-hour shifts available. 7-5 pm blocks not guaranteed.
10. Level II Trauma experience is a MUST
11. Optional beeper nightly and weekend call coverage: 5% callback rate, higher percentage for weekday call. Not mandatory but available if desired.
12. Minimum 1 year of experience required
13. Schedule planned 8 weeks in advance
14. Can make up to 3 schedule requests per 8-week cycle - not guaranteed
15. Scheduler will coordinate with CRNA to confirm dates for call/weekend shifts
16. Early-in at 0700 once per 8-week schedule
17. NBCRNA certification required
18. BLS certification required
19. AHA certifications required
20. VA license must be obtained at the time of application
