The Opportunity
Optigy is seeking a full-time Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join a leading regional medical center in the heart of Michigan. This is an excellent opportunity for both experienced CRNAs and new graduates to work in a technologically advanced setting within a supportive, collaborative team.
Practice Details:
• Schedule: 4x10s with shared on-call responsibilities
• Call split among 23 CRNAs: 1-2 weekday calls/month + 1 weekend every couple of months
• Case mix includes general, OB, pediatrics, diagnostics, and more
• Full anesthesia support including IV sedation, monitored anesthesia, general, regional, and local
• EPIC EMR
• Robust post-anesthesia care and safety protocols
• Opportunity to support departments across the medical center
Duties Include:
• Pre-anesthetic evaluation and OR suite preparation
• Administer, manage, and monitor anesthesia care
• Post-anesthesia recovery evaluation and reporting
• Emergency response including CPR and life support
• Arterial line insertion, regional anesthesia administration, and airway management
Qualifications:
• Completion of accredited Nurse Anesthesia program
• NBCRNA certification (or eligible and pending)
• Licensed or license-eligible in Michigan
• Excellent communication, organization, and critical thinking skills
• Comfortable with Microsoft systems and EMR platforms
• Must be physically able to meet hospital safety, movement, and PPE requirements
• Open to new grads
• Not open to Locums or 1099 candidates
Compensation & Benefits:
• Salary range: $200,000 - $240,000
• Overtime and on-call pay at 1.5x rate
• Generous relocation package
• Potential sign-on bonus
