Job summary

Henry Ford Health is seeking a CRNA to join our team in Detroit, delivering comprehensive anesthesia services across surgical and obstetric settings. You will manage IV, inhalation, and regional techniques, care for diverse patient populations, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including obstetric anesthesia colleagues.

Excellent clinical judgment and strong teamwork are essential, with responsibilities spanning a wide range of cases and centers connected to the hospital campus.

Qualifications

• Current RN license and CRNA certification required.
• Master's or Doctoral degree from an accredited nurse anesthesia program.
• Excellent clinical judgment and strong teamwork skills.
• Current certifications including ALS and BLS, and clinical privileges.

Responsibilities

• Administer anesthesia using IV, inhalation, and regional techniques across surgical procedures.
• Care for diverse patient populations across all ages and ASA classes.
• Provide airway management services and respond to codes and ED traumas.
• Work across ortho, neuro, vascular, trauma, and other specialties for varied cases.
• Staff the endoscopy center (3 rooms) and surgery center (5 rooms) across the street.
• Collaborate with OB CRNA team for epidural and obstetric anesthesia care.
• Partner with anesthesiologists and other providers in a collaborative team.

• Master the art of anesthesia by administering intravenous, inhalation, and regional anesthetics to keep patients comfortable and pain-free during surgical procedures, obstetrical deliveries, and other medical and dental procedures

• Be the airway expert by providing critical airway management services throughout the hospital, including managing house-wide codes and ED traumas where your skills truly shine

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• Current RN license and CRNA certification (NBCRNA)
• Master's or Doctoral degree from an accredited nurse anesthesia program
• Excellent clinical judgment and strong teamwork skills
• Current certifications: State RN License, CRNA Certification, ALS Certification, BLS Certification, and Clinical Privileges

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience collaborating with anesthesiologists in a hospital setting
• Demonstrated ability to manage diverse patient populations across all age groups
