Job summary

Henry Ford Health is seeking a skilled CRNA to join our anesthesia care team in the ambulatory division. The CRNA will administer IV, inhalation, and regional anesthesia across diverse surgical cases, from orthopedics to general surgery.

This full-time opportunity offers a no-call, no-overnight schedule with shifts ending by 9:30pm and a sign-on bonus eligible. Join over 40 CRNAs supporting high-quality patient care at Henry Ford Health.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in nurse anesthesia from an accredited program.
• CRNA certification (NBCRNA) is required.
• State specialty certification required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments and tailor anesthesia care plans.
• Administer general, regional, or monitored anesthesia care with surgical teams.
• Monitor patients and manage anesthesia-related complications.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our anesthesia care team. The CRNA will be responsible for administering intravenous, inhalation, and regional anesthetics to render persons insensible to pain during surgical procedures, obstetrical deliveries, or other medical and dental procedures. Potentially administers anesthesia to all ages and A.S.A. classes of patients, including geriatrics and pediatrics. Provides airway management services as needed throughout the hospital.

Work-Life

• No call, no overnight, minimal weekend shifts, latest shift ends at 9:30pm.
• HFMG Surgery Centers provide an opportunity to perform a wide variety of cases such as total hips and knees, plastic, sports medicine, ortho, urology, GYN, ophthalmology, podiatry, dental, pediatrics, and endoscopy, and general surgery.
• The Ambulatory Division has over 40 CRNAs and 10 senior staff physicians delivering high quality fast-paced patient care.
  

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments and develop tailored anesthesia care plans.
• Administer anesthesia (general, regional, or monitored anesthesia care) in collaboration with surgeons and other healthcare providers.
• Monitor patients during procedures and manage any anesthesia-related complications.
• Provide post-anesthesia care and pain management.
• Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.
  

Qualifications

• Current RN license and CRNA certification (NBCRNA).
• Master’s or Doctoral degree from an accredited nurse anesthesia program.
• Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Graduation from an accredited school of anesthesia.
• Ability to work harmoniously in collaborative situations with anesthesiologists and other health care providers.
