Job summary

Henry Ford Medical Group Surgery Center- Cottage is seeking a skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to join our anesthesia care team. The CRNA will administer general, regional, or monitored anesthesia care and provide post-anesthesia care across diverse cases.

You'll rotate within ambulatory division to cover cases and enjoy a no-call, no-overnight schedule with minimal weekend shifts; latest shift ends at 9:30pm, with a $20k sign-on bonus eligible.

Qualifications

• Current RN license and CRNA certification (NBCRNA).
• Master’s or Doctoral degree from an accredited nurse anesthesia program.
• Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Graduation from an accredited school of anesthesia.
• Ability to work harmoniously in collaborative situations with anesthesiologists and other health care providers.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments and develop tailored anesthesia care plans.
• Administer anesthesia (general, regional, or monitored anesthesia care) in collaboration with surgeons and other healthcare providers.
• Monitor patients during procedures and manage any anesthesia-related complications.
• Provide post-anesthesia care and pain management.
• Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.

Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our anesthesia care team. The CRNA will be responsible for administering intravenous, inhalation, and regional anesthetics to render persons insensible to pain during surgical procedures, obstetrical deliveries, or other medical and dental procedures. Potentially administers anesthesia to all ages and A.S.A. classes of patients, including geriatrics and pediatrics. Provides airway management services as needed throughout the hospital.

Work-Life:

• No call, no overnight, minimal weekend shifts, latest shift ends at 9:30pm.
• HFMG Surgery Centers provide an opportunity to perform a wide variety of cases such as total hips and knees, plastic, sports medicine, ortho, urology, GYN, ophthalmology, podiatry, dental, pediatrics, and endoscopy, and general surgery.
• The Ambulatory Division has over 40 CRNAs and 10 senior staff physicians delivering high quality fast-paced patient care.
