Job summary

Henry Ford Health in Michigan is seeking a skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our anesthesia team at West Bloomfield. The CRNA administers intravenous, inhalation, and regional anesthetics to render patients insensible to pain during surgeries, obstetrical deliveries, or other procedures, across age groups.

Airway management is provided as needed. Work-life details include 1-2 call shifts per 6 weeks, minimal midnight shifts, and weekend shifts on average per year.

Qualifications

• RN license and CRNA certification (NBCRNA).
• Master’s or Doctoral degree from an accredited nurse anesthesia program.
• Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Graduation from an accredited school of anesthesia.
• Ability to work harmoniously with anesthesiologists and health care providers.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments and develop tailored anesthesia care plans.
• Administer anesthesia (general, regional, or monitored anesthesia care) in collaboration with surgeons and other providers.
• Monitor patients during procedures and manage anesthesia-related complications.
• Provide post-anesthesia care and pain management.
• Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.

Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our anesthesia care team. The CRNA will be responsible for administering intravenous, inhalation, and regional anesthetics to render persons insensible to pain during surgical procedures, obstetrical deliveries, or other medical and dental procedures. Potentially administers anesthesia to all ages and A.S.A. classes of patients, including geriatrics and pediatrics. Provides airway management services as needed throughout the hospital.

Work-Life:

• HFWB is a level 3 trauma center with 15 OR’s providing the following services: Thoracic, Vascular, Neurosurgery, General, ENT, Urology, Orthopedic, Bariatric, Plastic Surgery, Colo-Rectal, Ophthalmology, Podiatry, and Pediatrics of all ages. We provide anesthesia services in 3 Endoscopy suites, MRI, EP, TEE, DCCV, CT, OB, and Bronchoscopy.

weekend shifts on average per year
