Job summary

Nationwide-Children in Columbus, OH is seeking a full-time CRNA to provide and manage anesthesia for surgical procedures. You will perform preoperative assessments, formulate anesthetic plans, administer and monitor anesthesia, and support recovery.

New graduates are welcome; Ohio RN licensure and APN required, NBCRNA eligibility, ACLS and BLS certification, PALS within 12 months. Collaborate with the surgical team, participate in education and orientation of staff and students, contribute to

Overview:Full time hours available. Exempt position, benefits eligibleJob Description Summary:Collaborates with the surgical team, providing and utilizing a variety of anesthetics for medical and surgical procedures.Cares for the patient during the course of the anesthetic including preoperative assessment, administration and maintenance, and recovery.Job Description:Essential Functions:Performs a preoperative assessment/chart review of the patient to formulate an anesthetic plan according to the individual needs of the patient.Responds appropriately to any significant physiological, anesthesia changes and treats accordingly, informing the staff anesthesiologist when appropriate.
