Raleigh Capitol Ear, Nose, and Throat in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Certified/Registered Medical Assistant to join our Allergy & Immunology team. You will support patient care in a fast-paced clinical setting and help ensure smooth daily operations.

This full-time position offers a stable schedule, Monday–Friday, with generous benefits and a focus on high-quality patient care. You will contribute to a collaborative clinical team and maintain meticulous records.

Qualifications

• Current CMA or RMA certification required.
• Experience in a medical office, specialty clinic, or allergy/immunology setting preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, especially with medications and dosing.
• Calm, professional demeanor and excellent patient-care communication.
• Ability to work well as part of a collaborative clinical team.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-volume allergy skin prick tests.
• Administer immunotherapy injections per dosing schedules.
• Monitor patients after injections and recognize adverse reactions.
• Room patients efficiently and maintain clinical flow.
• Perform spirometry and assist with challenges.
• Educate patients on EpiPen use and allergen avoidance.
• Maintain accurate documentation and patient testing records.
• Follow infection-control and patient-safety protocols.

Your Responsibilities

• Perform high-volume skin prick and intradermal allergy testing
• Administer allergy immunotherapy injections according to established dosing schedules
• Monitor patients following injections and promptly recognize signs of systemic or anaphylactic reactions
• Room patients efficiently and maintain smooth clinical flow
• Perform spirometry and assist with food and medication challenges
• Educate patients on EpiPen use, allergen avoidance, and treatment plans
• Maintain accurate documentation, medication records, and patient testing information
• Follow all clinical, infection-control, and patient-safety protocols
