Job summary

Grady Health System is seeking a Certified Peer Specialist (CPS) to work with individuals who experience serious mental illness, serving as a recovery role model and providing training, counseling, and advocacy support. You may work in clinics, peer programs, or community settings, coordinating services and helping with WRAP plans.

Qualifications

• Ability to support individuals with serious mental illness in group or one-on-one settings.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with patients, families, and staff.
• Commitment to recovery-focused, patient-centered care and professional integrity.

Responsibilities

• Provide group and/or individual training and counseling to individuals with serious mental illness.
• Coordinate services, support community linkage, and advocate to meet individual needs.
• Assist with Wellness Recovery Action Plans (WRAP) and care coordination.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes.
