Job summary

Compeer Financial in Worthington, MN seeks a Certified General Real Estate Appraiser to provide credible appraisals and market value reports. You will follow USPAP, maintain data systems, and support lending with benchmark studies while building an external client base in a hybrid work environment.

Role requires a CF-RE Appraiser license or eligibility, a relevant degree, and strong analytical, communication, and CRM skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or related education/experience.
• Minimum of 3 years related experience as a Certified Appraiser.
• Certified General Real Estate Appraiser license preferred; required in many cases.
• Knowledge of USPAP and state/federal financial regulations.
• Strong client service and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide credible appraisals in line with USPAP for internal and external clients.
• Produce concise reports supporting market value of properties.
• Complete monthly and annual benchmark studies to support lending.
• Develop and grow an external book of business.
• Inspect subject properties and verify attributes as needed.
• Document property characteristics to ensure accurate representation.
• Conduct market data collection and maintain sales databases.
• Provide training and mentoring to Associate Appraisers.
