Job Description

Work in the hospital with a fixed unit and/or in the IPD/OR/ER, etc., with a mobile unit.

• Potential exposure to radiation if proper precautions are not utilized.
• Potential exposure to high-voltage equipment.
• Potential exposure to contagious patients.
• Occasional lifting and/or moving of equipment and/or patients exceeding 10 lbs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Must maintain required hours of continued education.
• Registered in Radiography with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) or registry eligible. If eligible, registry must be obtained within 6 months of hire date.
• Healthcare Provider certification (BCLS).

Additional Skills

OR experience is preferred.

Requirements

• Certified Radiology Technologist, Radiology
• Experience: 2 years
• License: RAD-MI
• Certifications: R (Copy Needed); BLS (Copy Needed)
• SSN and DOB required
• Work history: No more than 30 days gap in entire work history
• References: 1 reference in entire work history
