Certified Radiology Technologist - (RAD Tech)

Start Date: 5/19/2025 | Available Shifts: 12 N | Pay Rate: $1559.14 - $1708.42

Job Responsibilities:
  1. Take radiographs per physician orders.
  2. Be versatile within the diagnostic department of Radiology.
  3. Protect all patients and employees from unnecessary radiation.
  4. Maintain knowledge of front desk operations, computer systems, and report equipment problems to the manager and Clinical Engineers.
  5. Schedule all exams through the department, alerting a supervisor when necessary.
  6. Use the centralized transport program for patient transportation.
  7. Access computer systems for patient exams, including ordering, reprinting, or canceling as needed.
  8. Interact professionally with other departments.
  9. Call in on-call imaging associates as required.
  10. Report equipment problems to clinical engineering and alert managers as needed.
  11. Remain available for assignments as needed.
  12. Assist Radiologic Technologist Students.
  13. Perform duties related to equipment quality assurance, regulatory compliance, supply ordering, staff scheduling, and audits.
  14. Access patient records as part of normal operations.
Skills & Experience:
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, sterile techniques, and procedures.
  • Patient positioning and operation of x-ray machines and printers.
Qualifications:
  • Certified Radiology Technologist (Radiology).
  • License: RAD-OH (copy required).
  • Certifications: R - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (copy required); BLS-AHA (copy required).
  • SSN and DOB required.
  • Work history with no more than 30 days gap.
  • One reference from the last 12 months.
