V-Soft Consulting is currently hiring for a Certified Project Manager III for our premier client in Madison, Wisconsin.

Education And Experience »

• 5+ years of Project Management, 3+ years of Project Program Management.
• A client service mindset with attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and escalate issues to relevant parties.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience working with project managers/leads to provide project management expertise and support.
• Experience working in and leading an organization going through consolidation, reorganization, or merger.

Top Skills (3) & Years of Experience: 3-5 years

• Superior communication, presentation, and organization skills.
• Executive level presentation creation and delivery.
• Ability to work cross organizationally to deliver services to Enterprise clients.

Nice to Have:

• Advanced proficiency in Excel.
• Experience with transformations and mergers amongst business units and organizations.

What You’ll Do

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead and facilitate functional and sometimes cross-functional teams in defining project goals, deliverables, milestones, resources, budget, and schedule.
• Manage execution of thrive projects, exercising organizational, leadership, and management skills to deliver projects successfully.
• Deliver key messages regarding all project initiatives within the program(s). Direct the communication of status, issue, and risk disposition to all stakeholders, including senior management, on a timely basis.
• Provide timely and accurate communications to stakeholders, including overall status, health, and business benefits tracking for projects.
• Lead project teams in developing, implementing, and applying standard processes for risk management, issue management, quality assurance, project delivery, financial management, and project communications.
• Facilitate and contribute to continuous improvement of a standard PM methodology including, but not limited to, project execution, approval, and reporting.
• Apply structured Change Management methods to projects and lead change management activities, including stakeholder assessment, communication, training/coaching, and resistance management.
• Champion change and innovation by socializing a forward-thinking portfolio of projects and roadmap.
• Mentor and train business team members to build consistent project delivery and change management practices throughout DPM.
• Forecast resourcing needs and develop/modify plans accordingly to achieve desired results.
