Position Overview
We are seeking experienced Certified Project Managers to lead and support technical and IT‑focused initiatives. This role will be responsible for driving projects from initiation through delivery, coordinating cross‑functional teams, and ensuring successful execution aligned with business and technical objectives.
The ideal candidate brings a strong foundation in project management, best practices, technical fluency, and the ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage multiple IT‑related projects with varying complexity
- Own the full project lifecycle, including planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, milestones, and status reports
- Facilitate project meetings and coordinate efforts across cross‑functional teams
- Partner with business and technical stakeholders to define scope, requirements, and success criteria
- Identify, track, and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies
- Manage scope, timelines, and budgets to ensure projects are delivered on time and within expectations
- Provide clear, consistent communication on project status, risks, and deliverables
- Escalate issues as needed and proactively recommend solutions
- Support documentation, change management activities, and handoff to operational teams
Required Qualifications
- Active Project Management certification (PMP preferred; CAPM or equivalent considered)
- 3+ years of experience managing technical, IT, or systems‑related projects
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, Hybrid)
- Experience working with cross‑functional technical teams
- Proficiency with common project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational, problem‑solving, and stakeholder management abilities
Preferred / Nice‑to‑Have Experience
- Experience with application implementations, system integrations, or technology upgrades
- Background in enterprise or regulated environments (e.g., healthcare, finance, utilities, manufacturing, SaaS)
- Vendor or third‑party management experience
- Familiarity with SDLC and technical delivery processes
- Experience in client‑facing or customer‑facing project environments
