Qualifications

• High attention to precise limits and accuracy in workmanship.
• Ability to read plans and apply shop mathematics.
• NCCER certifications written and/or practical required.

Responsibilities

• Selects pipe type and size and related materials per job specs.
• Inspects worksite and plans sequence to avoid obstructions.
• Cuts, threads, and bends pipe using appropriate tools.
• Mounts pipe hangers/brackets and installs joints and fittings.
• Installs and maintains refrigeration and air systems and controls.
• Tests piping systems for leaks and inspects gauges.
• Performs maintenance of tools and equipment and observes safety rules.
