Job summary

Cottage Health is seeking a Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) for the PSC Goleta Hollister department. You will perform phlebotomy across age ranges, process specimens, and use Laboratory Information Systems for data entry and workflow management.

Travel between Goleta locations with a valid California driver license may be required. Under supervision, you will maintain professionalism, support client services, and manage specimen-related requests in a fast-paced lab setting within Cottage

Qualifications

• Associate degree preferred; two-year college equivalency acceptable.
• California phlebotomy certification required.
• Valid Class C California driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform phlebotomy and other skin puncture procedures for patients from newborn to geriatric.
• Process specimens and operate LIS/HIS for data entry, batching, and retrieval.
• Handle unreceived specimen list, respond to unusual requests, and provide client service.
