Cottage Health in Santa Barbara, CA seeks a Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) for its Central Processing team. The CPT will perform phlebotomy across all ages, process specimens, and enter data into the LIS/LIMS. Responsibilities include managing unreceived specimens, client services, and limited instrument operation.

Travel between sites may be required. The role requires California CPT certification, a valid Class C driver license, and solid data-entry skills.

Qualificações

• Current California phlebotomy certification is required.
• GVCH: valid Class C California driver license and acceptable driving record from the California DMV.
• Must have computer keyboard skills and meet data entry expectations within 9 months of hire.
• Knowledge of laboratory instrumentation is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Perform phlebotomy or skin puncture on patients from newborn to geriatric, including difficult draws.
• Process all specimen types and handle data entry and batching in Laboratory/Hospital Information Systems.
• Manage unreceived specimen list and respond to unusual requests while providing client services.
• Operate automated instrumentation as needed and support travel between work locations with a personal vehicle.
