Qualifications

• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Six months of experience in a retail environment preferred.
• Prior Walgreens experience preferred.
• Good math skills for counting, measuring and weighing medications.
• Good computer skills.
• Knowledge of store inventory control.
• PTCB certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist, under supervision, in the practice of pharmacy and pharmacy department duties.
• Use pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions.
• Engage customers and patients, resolve issues, and deliver a positive customer experience.
• Assist with inventory management, ordering, stocking and verify medicines.
• Handle cash register and related point-of-sale duties.
• Support clerical duties and communicate with healthcare providers as needed.
• Participate in training and continuing education.
