Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to assist the pharmacist in dispensing medications, entering patient data, and supporting daily store operations. You will interact with customers to provide guidance and ensure accurate prescriptions while maintaining compliance with policy.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
• Preferred six months of experience in a retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Under the supervision by the pharmacist, assist in the practice of pharmacy, in accordance with state, federal, and company policy.
• Reviews and complies with the Walgreens Pharmacy Code of Conduct and uses pharmacy systems to enter patient and drug information.
• Fills prescriptions by retrieving, counting and pouring pharmaceutical drugs, and verifies medicine is correct.
• Supports inventory management, order processing, stock, and loss prevention within the Pharmacy Department.
• May assist in administering clinical services and coordinating with healthcare providers.
